FAQs

Can I still attend an S3 class if I have an injury?

  • First, you should see a medical professional and discuss your physical limitations. If you get the go-ahead, each instructor is trained to give appropriate modifications to make the class accessible.

  • Or, you can attend a private session with one of our instructors to specifically work on your injuries.

Is there an age limit for S3 Studios?

  • Yes, classes are designed for adults, ages 16+, unless specified otherwise e.g. Kids’ Class, Tweens.

I’m pregnant. Can I attend an S3 class?

  • We have a specific S3 pre- and postnatal class.

  • You may attend classes up to 38 weeks pregnancy.

  • You may return to classes 6 weeks post partum, or after being cleared by your medical practitioner to return to physical activities.

  • All our instructors are trained in pre and postnatal and are able to give specific and appropriate modifications to allow for a safe class

When can I attend class after birth?

  • We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks to attend the pre- and post-natal class or starter and 6 months after birth for the S3 Signature and S3 Sweat.

Can I bring my baby or child to my S3 class?

  • The pre&postnatal class is baby friendly, however, if your baby is fussy or crying, you will be required to leave the class to calm the baby down.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • There is a no refund policy if you cancel 12 hours before a scheduled class. Unfortunately, there are no refunds.

What is the waitlist policy?

  • You will have 2 hours to register for the class after you receive the alert that there was a cancellation. Due to high demand for the peak classes, we must remove you and offer the class to the next person on the waitlist if we do not hear from you.

What should I wear to class?

  • Prioritize clothing that provides movement flexibility, comfort, and converge. Choose from fitted sports bras, t-shirts, tank tops, leggings, capris, or shorts made from breathable, wicking materials.

I’m late for class. Can I still participate?

  • There is an important warm up at the start of class. After 5 minutes, you will not be able to participate in the class. This will help prevent injuries from not warming up your muscles as well as reduce disruptions for the other S3 clients.

Why would I book a private lesson?

  • If you have an injury, want to focus on improving your form or to work on a specific muscle group, you may want to book a private lesson.
